This groovy bass-driven track explores Dance-Pop territory and sample-based sound design.

In the market for her next single, Becki heard my instrumental demo for this track, and built the entire song around essentially just a verse and chorus. Becki’s incredible vocal talent made for smooth final production of the track, and her creativity defined many aspects of the track, e.g. key change in the final chorus.

Getting the vibe of this song right was a big challenge, and I spent hours searching through my sample & instrument libraries looking for the best drum sounds, virtual instrument layers, and ear candy.

The bass part, which carries the song, evolves throughout – accomplished by alternating my playing style between verse & chorus, layering with synth parts, and tightly editing the audio in-session.
